今天不知道搞什么鬼，真个人很低落，很没心情。
是因为今天是国庆日，可是又没（原因）庆祝的缘故吗？
还是是因为我没全力以赴，导致今早考试不顺利引起的吗？
或许是我白白浪费掉的三个小时 （1小时与朋友想怎么打发时间，1小时睡觉，1小时看哈利波特和吃午餐）？
也可能是因为回家单独的路程上胡思乱想，期望一些欲求不得的东西？
是不是给了自己太大压力造成的？
或许只是纯粹担心着今晚的结局？
相信应该不是荷尔蒙失调吧？
我真的不可以再这样了。

When i was in secondary school, they used to give out flyers during the assembly, and we would sing a few patriotic songs, such as the 'tanggal tiga puluh satu, bulan lapan lima puluh tujuh' or perhaps the 'merahmu bara semangat waja, putihmu bersih budi pekerti' and a few others..

I was looking for one patriotic song, which had malay, chinese and tamil lyrics inside. But sadly, i cant find it. Instead, i found these: advertisements from Petronas. Gotta love these classics. i think they make the best festival advertisements. (I have included explainations as some of you may not understand the advertisement and the title are not official ones, i jus gave them one)
(omg, i can't believe the merdeka celebration in uwa actually had the same idea of celebrating national day...sad)

Indonesia movie festival. Watched Koper (Lost Suitcase) which talks about the themes of corruption and the never ending, empty pursuit of a better life. Really looking forward to Titik Temu and Kado Kendo (26,27 Sept 07 in Alexander Library-state library). Go foreign language (art house) movie ..!!1

Went to church. It was er..evangelising?. Then headed off to UWA expo. Dent netball game on the same day. Looked really fun playing it in the rain. Hang out at the dent corner and chat. ISS-MCW dinner at 大长今 a Korean restaurant.

And sigh, I didn’t do any study throughout the weekend

Monday
Had to drill a tooth to make an occlusal Class I restoration (not that anyone understand). Since I have passed one (we have three tries and have to pass at least one), I decided to challenge myself and let the toughest tutor mark my tooth. And I got 41/55 (pass is 33/55 ok) which was …really good…nvm what I said…
Got a really touching msg. I m going to study hard, work hard, live a good life from now on. Hopefully not warm-warm chicken shit :-)

So, FRIDAY
Wagged/Pon-ed my first lec…muahaha…felt so good sleeping in and attending just one lecture at 1pm

I thought I could have earned a bit of money by going to work instead of going to CS quiz night/ ASIA charity dinner/ SMA dinner and spend (around) $10/ $55/ $30 respectively. BUT~~~~ my boss cancelled the job last minute. So, wasted my time. All wells

SATURDAY
Interyear basketball games. Thought I could give them some support by going there and er ..support. who knows? I was the only one..=.=’’’…I thought a lot of ppl from my year will be going…sigh…and even stupid-er..they messed up the bookings for the court. I’ll spare the details to prevent any unwanted embarrassment. And they changed place. And I cant be bothered following.

SO, I went back slacked a while, and went to work…night shift…awesome senpai there who helped me out…arigato deep down from my heart..

And went to my fren’s birthday…in vic park straight after…awesome night…took some photos, met up with some frens, got a bit tipsy and that’s pretty much ..:)

After so many stuffups during my week, I was a bit worried that something bad might happen. Not bad, but as in unexpected that might jus throw my whole plans off.

60th Indian Independence Anniversary Cultural Carnival..omg so long

It was awesome (pardon my limited vocabulary), and their dress..fuyo..even me as a guy found it colourful. So why did I went? My frends preformed (2 from dent, 1 from med and someone from health sciences), and it’s cheap..ahah..

It was awesome. Performances:classical dance(the best I reckon), bollywood dance (my frends were in there), Punjabi folk dance, contemporary dances, instrumental and vocal medley (powerful voice), bhangra (supposedly the most popular dance), Goan musical performances. And there’s samosas.

And jus before I slept, a rumour has it that there will be a meteor shower. I would really like to see one. I’ve seen Haley Comet but meteor shower is totally different. Like how they show it drama, it’s so romantic, so mysterious, and making a wish on a meteor jus seem so ..awesome (lol). Ah ..dreams

The week that was:

MONDAY :
had a practical lab. learnt how to use high speed drill to drill a tooth. we all finished quite fast (it IS high speed). so what do you do when finished your practice, have lots more of extra teeth and have a high speed drill in your hand? you drill somemore...(me only actually)

ended early as always. so, went to watch simpsons…it was really funny. it was nice to have a break from the nothingness I have been experiencing since wk 1.

WEDNESDAY:
actually, shud hv wrote it here. slept very late to finish a stupid dietary analysis- effects on oral health.

China started their countdown to next year's Olympic on 8/8/08- talk about triple fatt. come to think of it, they are really lucky. 1. if China was in the southern hemisphere, it would b winter and they cant have summer games on that date. 2. the next oympics is in 2008 not 2007 or 2009. 3. if their lucky number was sth like 13 it jus wont happen -13/13/2013...

THURSDAY:
nothing much except that i was late for lecture, was too tired to listen to the same lecture, slept half an hour before sitting for a quiz which didn’t even require much learning (ok, a bit, but it was fairly basic). oh and finally got our clinical coats..:) third step..

to Singaporeans, Happy National Day. see, we Malaysians don’t hate you. we jus don’t like you…jk

went to this National Day Parade event held by SSS. was interesting but boring at the same time. they broadcasted the NDP live (with 5 mins delay). at first I thought it was in the morning until I realise it’s still bright at 6pm in s’pore or m’sia. there’s food. roti prata, laksa, ramli burger…mamak style with all the shouting, smell, and cheap price brought to Perth.

今天

今天超冷，冷到讲话都冒烟。出门到进lecture hall，一路上傻乎乎的吸呼吸呼，自己傻笑。

今天超闷，别人也有同感。上lecture都懒洋洋，lab也是无精打采，不知道是不够睡，还是学的东西难到闷。

今天的晚餐很失败，煮出来一塌糊。

今天有大领悟。脑里突然出现孟子说的一句：天将降大任于是(edit:斯)人也，必先苦其心志，劳其筋骨，饿其体肤，空乏其身，行拂乱其所为（其实还有下两句，只是我们没有学：。。。其所为，所以动心忍性，增益其所不能）。我天天凭毅力读书，天天上课昏昏欲睡，天天下午肚子饿，天天觉得生活无聊没意思，可是还是好好的活下去，不打抢，不喝酒，不赌博。看来，天要降大任于我也（还是已经降了？），乃呜呼哀哉。。。

今天想起之前，玩着电子钢琴时，以为作了一首曲，还蛮好听的。再弹第二次时，才发现，原来自己在弹着是由D大调卡农移调下一个全音的C大调卡农。顿时失望一下。

今天要变明天了。。。

One month to go…

Monday
Heavy rain didn’t stop a few of us from getting of the bus, walking running in the rain, and reaching lecture theater soaking wet, only to be bombarded by all the hand instruments that we have to learn.

Out of kindness, borrowed my safety glasses to a friend, hoping that my prescription glasses will be enough. However, this didn’t went by unnoticed by the hitler nurse, and I was bombarded by her and even accused of not having a safety glass (f her, I hv labs everyday last sem, how could i survived not having a pair of safety glasses)….and i am now my friend’s ‘master bestest friend’ and he owes me lunch…muahaha….塞翁失马，焉知非福。

My fingers getting tired of holding to the hand instrument and ended up accidentally slipped and drilled my fingers. No major harm caused.

Watched Big Brother Finale which is as pointless& boring as the reality show itself. Thought it wont harm to just know who the winner is even though I don watch the show myself. But….ah, the mighty 'but'…I had to wait for f-ing 3 hours. Even the two housemates were tired of waiting (they were really excited at first until the host keep saying that they are still counting the votes (apparently it’s really close, 500 votes difference of the hundreds of thousands of votes)). I had to switch channels to keep myself entertained. An middle-age lady almost had the chance to win won $1 million in ‘1 vs 100’ but..ah the 'but' again…she didn’t. she pulled back at this question: what is the domain name for Switzerland (or sth like that). The choices were: a)ch, b)su, c)sw. I was like mg…c) obviously…but the answer was a)…~.~’’’ oh…after a pantomime, housemates watching clips from home, listening to interview of host with their family live and eventually meeting their parents (producers are running out of ideas here) and finally…the girl won…alishea (or sth like dat)..sigh

Ohh…gray’s anatomy wasn’t the last episode…there’s two more to go…and the suspense in Ugly Betty with them finding the love chamber (or was it room?), Betty realizing she have to look for Henry, Hilda getting married and loads more...

Tuesday
Attend lecture and lab. Once again bombarded by the names -of blood vessels we have to learn…

有时就因为一时的冲动，做了一些事，反而弄巧反拙，遗憾终身。

Today I went to Subiaco market. Set my alarm at 8am (as if I would wake up so early…~.~’’’). Continue sleeping until 10am and finally forced myself to wake up.

Took a train. Subiaco actually looked quite nice. Or mayb it’s just the weather.

Since it was my first time there, I jus followed the crowd (yes, it’s a crowd, not jus a few people) and as I thought, my instincts didn’t fail me.

So I walked. It was not really what I thought (sigh… me and my expectations). Instead of the normal ‘pasar’ that we have in Malaysia, it was more of a Jalan India selling everything. Normal everyday things, clothes, giving massages, tarot card reading, food, flower pots etc etc.

Walked one round. And then walked another round taking photos.

And finally started doing what I was suppose to do there- buying my groceries. There’s really a lot of different races there. Now that’s what I call a melting pot. I thought most of the owner of the grocery shops were Chinese, until I started hearing them talk in a foreign language which I think was Vietnamese…so much for racial superiority…

Had my lunch. There’s really a lot of different kind of food. French, Latin, Turkish, Mexican, Lebanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, Indian, and not forgetting normal Aussie dishes.

there's a funny story behind this photo. I was taking this photo, and the owner said this photo is copyrighted and i have to pay $5 (well obviously he's joking). so, not knowing what to say, i said 'sorry' and acted like Chinese (people from China, not the race) tourists. but sadly, instead of acting improficient in English, i felt as if i was acting mentally-retarded.

I had Indian. (food of course) I didn’t actually felt hungry. I jus felt like eating.

OMG, reading ppl’s blog is so hard now especially there’s HP7 spoiler everywhere (well, ok, jus a few)…I still hvnt start reading yet…I call that pure laziness determination and perseverance

First day of uni…fun…got to meet all me coursemates. Funny thing is I met 6 mates on the same bus going to class (well, I suppose that’s because there’s not really a lot of buses passing by Queen Elizabeth II Hospital area)…anyway...first lecture…prac lab…second lec…finish (I’ll spare yall this time by not boring you to death with the contents of my lectures…though I reckon it was still quite interesting…skip the next paragraph)

(To those who wants to know, just to get a taste of my humble course, we learnt GV Black’s cavity classification in first lec, learnt the instruments (eg pigtail probe; Blacks spoon; chisels; enamel hatchet; spoon excavater), how to operate ‘the-most-cooperative-patient-u’ll-ever-get’ (quoted from one of the tutors) aka the SIMULATOR (comes with detachable skull, rotatable head, batteries sold separately (sometimes I amaze myself with the lame jokes I can think of)) revise wat we’ve learnt in sem 1 and also realize that we’ve completed 10% (which is ‘something’ even though its not a lot) of our course *clap hands* in 2nd lec)

原本还想说：名花归主了，再久点就被缠死了。
现在想说：名花归土，却招来土崩。。。叹气。。。no offence

Since everyone is blogging abt Harry Potter, I’ll do too.

The night before 21/7, I was really quite excited abt the whole ‘the-book-will-be-released-at-7.01am (GMT2301 ). I was thinking that will be like other big promotions (like the release of other HP books, McD’s Hello Kitty/Snoppy series etc) like those I read in the newspapers. And I’ll b part of it. Last one somemore. It’s felt like being a kid again. And I slept smiling..hehe

But…

It freakin rained the next day...but still, I woke up at 6.00am and went to Borders at 6.30am. But…there’s not a lot of ppl there. I thought there would be ppl queuing outside or even camping outside Borders…*fake laughs* hehe…suddenly felt not so excited anymore…

So the rest of the story is jus queueing up and getting the book.

Ohya, there were ppl from the tv…and they were shooting ppl saying out loud screaming the countdown and going hysterical when they got the book…~.~’’’


And the decors were nice, there are also ppl in costumes...nice atmosphere

And we got owlets…even though you can actually get it even if you go at *ehem* 11am…

I suppose it's the thrill of it, and like i said it's the last harry potter book...:)

I got the adult version, but wont b reading it yet…I want to read the sixth one first…

Cooked loh mai kai last night. Not bad. Need a bit more seasoning sauce, mushroom shudnt b soaked that long and not cut into such small pieces.

今天做完工，上了巴士，选了靠窗的位子。阳光晒得很热烈，心里却非常灰冷。。。很没心情。。。

finally i cooked it...i hv been planning it like since forever...yumm...

THE malay cuisine (满汉马来全席)...

And i caught two kitchen lab rats which were lurking around to run a test (no animals were harmed in the process)

The materials needed:

Rice-Nasi (ber)lemak
Malay style fried egg & prawns in sambal tumis
Beef curry
Stir fried brussel sprouts
Fried anchovies

Instructions:
Cook all those in two hours.
Stuff Feed the rats and wait for reaction, may take up to one hour for reaction/symptoms to appear.
Record results.

Results:
Temporalis muscles, masseter muscles became more active.
Gut tube excreted juices and expanded.
Body temperature increased (believed to be due to spiciness).
Lips curve upwards.

Ways of improving results:
None.

haha..ok..more coconut milk in rice, cook faster.

Conclusion:
Ichiban!.....thick face-nya.... : p

so freakin happy today...finally finished cleaning my laptop (after cleaning my room...)...i took like one whole day to (use different programs) scan antispywares in my laptop...

yesterday, a bunch of us went to a pizza place 'Little Caesers' in Mundaring (along Great Eastern Highway i think), it was quite far away, very in fact.

quite boring isnt it...

so the world's best pizza or sth like dat...

they gave us special seats- VIP room...well actually more like VIP corridor (coz there's not enough space in the shop(it's a very small shop)..no wonder ppl come here to take away)

we order a lot, there are quite a lot of different flavours: tuna, hawaiian, BBQ, chicken, oyster, sardine, lasagna, turkey (i like this), fettuccine, one which no one ate,....there are also others like prawns, seafood......which we didnt order.......

and so we ate like we never eaten pizza before...well not really

we ordered six with two half flavours and two single flavour...that's 8x10 pieces each to be shared among 13....everyone had to eat around...quite a lot pieces...

and we chilled...in the cold weather as we gathered around the heater... tried to play games but everyone cant be bother...hehe

i (and Mr C) finally mustered the courage to take some photos in the shop (i'll put it on later)while some of us tabao some pizza back (even though we were swearing that we wont touch any pizza for the rest of the year)

after eating desert (some very very very sweet pizza and apple strudel pizza which i didnt eat)

we went back...muahahaha

so is it really dat good?..i suppose it's jus the choices they have and the atmosphere of the shop..warm and cosy..really warm til a bit hot in the shop actually

it was good fun...

i m hungry now...i shall stop here and eat the pizza which is still in the kitchen now....muahaha...

Continues cleaning my room afterwards…it’s an ‘organized’ warzone now
Listened to all the songs that I’ve linked throughout the whole day…

成绩出炉了，只有一科成绩还不知道，懂的全部都pass。。。0.0>o
也没怎样很高兴或者失望。。。*沉思。。。

今天整天打扫房间,一口气queue了一大堆歌听：张栋梁－王子，SHE－play, JS-nerro scream, 戴佩妮－ipenny, 粱静茹－亲亲， 一公升的眼泪电视原声带。把整间房间turned upside down。。。抹了衣柜，抹了镜子，吸了地毯，换了床垫和床架，干了整天。。。

现在家里少了一个人，顿时变得很静。。。
饿了。便到厨房准备晚餐。把电脑抬到饭厅，继续听歌，正好放着tank-延长比赛keep fighting中的非你莫属。今晚菜单：
～鱼－没有以前常吃的黑仓、白仓、嘟嘟鱼。。。买了不会煮的鱼，觉得那只鱼好像不适合蒸，就用牛油煎算了。。。吃起来好像少了什么的， 原来自己吃着那条鱼，心里却想着ikan bakar。。。第一次煮算不错啦。。
～紫包菜＋萝卜－stir-fry，炒蒜头。这次没放蚝油， 因为妈说吃多不健康。
～饭－电饭锅坏了，所以回到原始，用锅在煤气炉上煮。。。真的需要技巧，要不断的搅拌，so that底部不会焦。。。结果还是焦了一点(也不算焦啦，只是干了一点)，以为吃起来会有bibimbap的味道，简直幻想天开。。。
煮好后，慢慢享用。还真的够慢，吃的当儿就听了十多首歌(10＋x5mins。。)：陈仁丰－音乐故事，林宇中－淋雨中。家里特别静，所以歌听起来也特别好听。还真巧，刚才看到一个朋友msn上写‘因为会体谅，所以能原谅’。吃好最后一口时，林宇中在歌里唱出同样的歌词。听清楚点，真的是没错。。。静静的家发生这样的事，有点不寒而栗。。。

吃完洗完，又继续收拾，也继续听歌：曹格－superman, 曹格－格格blue,黄义达－完整演出。十点多终于收好了，现在没有像战场那么乱了。。。赶快去洗个澡，把洪俊扬－独角兽pause着，回来继续听。。。

冲凉了，网上冲浪后，听完宇衡－2006real创作集，就去睡了。


要提一提，以上的歌除了SHE,JS,《一》，tank,黄义达和洪俊扬，剩的都是大马歌手。。。

Boring day today, really boring...stayed on my bed the whole day (come to think of it, it's not that bad coz my bed with another bed on its sides is actually my workplace...). I watched a few episodes of ' 美女厨房(beautiful cooking)' . Every episode 3 beautiful ladies will cook and judges will give them marks. And more often than not, their cooking is horigible, terigible and vegetable ah~.

After that, read 雪狼湖 (snow wolf lake). I had always wanted to know the story after Jacky Cheung 张学友& Vivian Hsu(??) 许慧欣 performed a musical of that in KL. I read half of the story during the Easter break and finally finished it today. Quite interesting...my eyes are so tired now from staring at the screen for so long...

An good fren of mine tagged me, without me knowing that he has a blog and without he knowing that i have a blog. And i'll do it some other day when i m free. It's quite amazing how i can stumble upon ppl's blog (which was how i knew he had a blog). I unknowingly found four of my course mates' blog...hehe. Even more amazing, i saw one random blog so i read it. And it turned out that he was studying in UWA eng. And then it turned out that my frens know him. And then the next thing you know, i was talking to him in my house. lol..the world is small, and internet too...

When i was cooking jus now i unconsciously applied the '3T'- Teori Tiga Titis, under SOMEONE'S influence. 3T (Three Drops Theory) states that only 3 drops of oil is needed when oil is used regardless whether it's for frying eggs, cooking noodles and stir-frying veges (not dat sure about deep-frying...mayb deep fry ant canlah...AHAHAHAHAHAH....~.~''' ). Anyway, i was brain-washed after the constant mentioning of 3T and before i realised it, it was too late. My beef got stuck to the pot. Apparently it only applies to non-stick pans... So now i have my own 3T-Three Tablespoons Theory..........

6. is found in 22/7 which is an approximate for pi, the number!!! (dat doesnt really count actually...)
7. multiplied by the number seven again, which makes forty nine days (七七四十九) is how long the monkey in 'The journey to the West 西游记' practice his powers in a pot (or sth like dat)!!!

great day today

at work, i was 'very good'. lol. got to eat chilled 1 1/3 foot long sub due to some mistakes. OHYA, for those who dont know, i m working in sobweys rivrvale (jus in case)

jus now i went to grand-uncle's place to eat dinner. cook laksa leh...i was like 'woa, so long never eat liao', missed it so much and cant wait to cook it myself *hint hint*, but as i m typing now, i m thinking 'omg not laksa again' *hint hint cancelled*
